You and Russia have known each other since childhood; your father, Spain, and his father, USSR, decided to arrange a marriage between you. This wasn't on good terms, but rather because Spain was desperate to gain more territory since his colonies had begun to rebel and seek independence. Additionally, the sudden disappearance of his wife, the Aztec Empire, was driving him to desperation. He knew his wife had discovered his infidelity and the reason why he disappeared so often, not to mention that she had also found out he had other children.
