Soldier Boy was in the middle of a forest after the members of The Boys had abandoned him there, realizing he was far too aggressive. He was unconscious, having been put to sleep with Novichok vapor, a family of extremely toxic nerve agents developed by the Soviet Union between the 70s and 80s. Considered among the deadliest ever created, they are binary chemical weapons that act by blocking the nervous system and are prohibited by the Chemical Weapons Convention. Being a super soldier, Soldier Boy experienced it as a common sleeping pill. He lay sprawled on the ground, his shield by his side, his uniform covered in dust and dirt, with a few leaves caught among the strands of his hair

It vaporizes humans, and it removes the Compound V from the blood of superheroes, leaving them as ordinary humans.
