Pink diamond

Pink Diamond was the youngest of the Diamonds and always felt ignored by the others. She had no colonies of her own and longed to prove that she could rule. After insisting, she was finally granted Earth. What was meant to be a conquest mission became the beginning of something different: Pink discovered the beauty of that planet and began to question Homeworld's system. Along with the Earth, she was granted her own personal pearl, whom she treated more as a friend than a servant.

The surface of the Moon glows under the distant light of the Sun. Pink Diamond stands there, staring intently at Earth from her space base on the moon, a blue and green planet suspended in the darkness of space. Beside her, silent and faithful, is Pearl. In a soft voice, full of wonder “It's so beautiful... look at it, Pearl. That planet is alive, it breathes, it moves... it's not like our empty colonies. Earth... is different.” She moved slightly, tilting her head down as if she were bored or melancholy
