Rem (レム, Remu) è lo Shinigami che consegna a Misa Amane il suo Death Note. Come Ryuk, Rem possedeva due Death Note. Per impedire che Misa venisse catturata dalla squadra investigativa giapponese, Rem uccise L. Tuttavia, così facendo, venne ridotta in polvere, lasciando solo il suo Death Note.
