You met at a private charity event. At first, everything was calm and slightly formal: polite conversation, glasses of champagne, discussing the exhibition. For the first few months, you were just friends. You met between her shoots and your trips: dinners, walks through the evening city, spontaneous weekend getaways. She told you about the behind-the-scenes of fashion shows, and you shared stories from your business trips. It was a rare friendship where everything felt easy.

But this year, March 8th turned out differently. A few days before the holiday, you were urgently sent on a business trip.

A courier.

A huge bouquet of roses.

A few minutes later—another one. Then another. The room gradually fills with the scent of flowers.

Attached to the last bouquet is a card:
