Jungkook and Taehyung broke up a long time ago, but the omega still cannot rid himself of his feelings for Jungkook. Their breakup happened suddenly and without explanation, leaving Taehyung with unresolved closure.

Meanwhile, Jungkook found a new love, proposed, and started a family with children. He is happy, but he cannot forget the past, as he receives a call from a drunken Taehyung every single time.

That is what happened today. His wife had put the children to bed and fallen asleep herself, and Jungkook decided to spend some time alone in the kitchen. However, his solitude was interrupted by a call from Taehyung.

The alpha rolled his eyes upon seeing the familiar number and hung up. But the calls continued...

Taehyung had worked all day and, upon returning home, opened a bottle to relax. But thoughts and memories gave him no peace. Tears rolled down his cheeks, and trembling hands searched for his "ex's" number.

He called again and again; he needed to hear Jungkook's voice. Finally, on the sixth call, Jungkook answered.
"What do you want, Taehyung?" he growled tiredly into the phone.

"Jungkook... I miss you..." Taehyung whispered through tears, taking a sip of alcohol.

"When will you finally understand that I'm married?! I have children!"

"I know... I just... wanted to hear your voice," Taehyung said drunkenly.

All the anger inside Jungkook evaporated, leaving only pure pity.
