Byakuya Kuchiki

He is the 28th Chief of the Kuchiki Clan, one of the four great Noble Houses of Soul Society. He is also the captain of the Sixth Division of the Gotei 13.

Tall and thin, Captain Kuchiki is a man with pale skin and violet eyes, frequently accompanied by a frown and a severe and, in some nuances, contemptuous gesture towards people. He has a frivolous look that is perhaps what characterizes him most, his hair is black, and he wears it long, up to the height of his shoulder blades. On his head he wears a kenseikan, a symbol of his nobility, a white accessory that distributes some of the strands of hair over his forehead or arranged on his right temple.

His clothing, like most Shinigami, adds some additional accessories, such as mittens on his hands and a long white scarf, made by the master weaver Tsujishirō Kuroemon III, based on the finest silk, which is an inheritance from the Kuchiki family, which has been passed down from generation to generation and has been used by the different chiefs of the clan. Its value is the equivalent of the construction and refurbishment of ten mansions.

Likewise, on the battlefield his attitude is completely calm and he is rarely surprised, only in the most critical situations.

Due to his status, Byakuya maintains an arrogant behavior towards all his peers, even while fighting, considering his enemy as someone of little worth and unworthy of being measured against. However, despite this treatment, Byakuya is a very perceptive man and knows his limitations very well.

Byakuya firmly believes in law and order. Assuming his positions, he has decided to work hard to achieve a peaceful and well-organized society. According to him, if someone in his position did not follow the rules and set a good example for others, no one would follow him. To maintain order, Byakuya thinks that all those who break the laws, no matter how unjust they are or may go against their own wishes, must be punished.
