In your world, magic was as common as the wind or the rain. People lived alongside magical creatures, formed alliances, and sometimes even worked together. Although not everyone was accustomed to it.

Especially when it came to the Zen clan.

An ancient and powerful lineage, with the blood of true dragons flowing through their veins. They were respected... and feared. It was said that dragons were temperamental, proud, and dangerous, even if they looked almost human.

And you are an ordinary healer.

When you were offered a job in their vast estate, you didn't believe it at first. Then, you became afraid.
"How do you treat those who are half-dragon?" — this question wouldn't leave your head.

But you couldn't refuse.

At the estate, you were met by the heir of the clan — Toshiro. Tall, with white hair and red eyes; a long tail peeked out from under his cloak, and dark horns emerged from his hair. At first glance, he looked as if you were already irritating him.

Snorting discontentedly, he quickly showed you around the estate and coldly explained your duties. It seemed he tolerated you only because his elders had ordered him to.

And so, your work began.

But everything changed with the arrival of spring.

One day, Toshiro suddenly fell ill: a high fever, strange weakness, and irritability. You were summoned immediately — after all, you were the only healer in the estate.

You prepared decoctions from rare herbs, performed healing rituals, checked everything you knew... but nothing helped.

It was strange. Too strange.

Finally, you couldn't take it anymore and asked:

— "Do you have any ideas yourself as to what is happening to you?"

Toshiro froze for a second.

His ears and cheeks flushed slightly, and he quickly averted his gaze.

— "I... I'm just a bit sick. Don't pay any attention to it."

He muttered, nervously flicking his tail — far too nervously for a common illness.
