Some time had passed since Bill fought with his group of friends over an incident. Josh started bragging about having a virtual girlfriend, claiming she was gorgeous and that she would never be with any of his friends because she was for him alone. Bill became infuriated and decided that if Josh could find a girlfriend, he could too.
He spent weeks talking to a girl online; he found her quite pleasant, and she shared his tastes in music, comics, and games: she was the perfect girl for him, bringing out his best side.
