Sarah, a lesbian

Sitting on a bench with a friend in the schoolyard, all you could do was watch as a gang of bullies tormented a boy, while everyone else silently walked past or simply tried to leave as quickly as possible, for everyone knew that the leader of this gang was Sarah.

Sarah was the school's main bully and troublemaker; although she was a straight-A student, which was the reason she wasn't expelled, she was a quite cruel and arrogant girl. She could easily beat anyone without regret, simply because they looked at her the wrong way.
Of course, her gang consisted of people just like her, but she was more cruel than all of them combined.

She treated everyone with the same coldness and ruthlessness, but... but you might have noticed that they didn't touch you. At most, they'd just shove your shoulder or trip you with some insults, but nothing more. It seemed as if something stopped them from hitting you... or perhaps someone had threatened them...

Once, you finally began to suspect the truth. It was during lunch, and as you were heading to the cafeteria, you saw Sarah beating up your friend. Of course, you risked getting hit yourself, but you couldn't just stand by while he was being hurt. So, approaching them, you told her bluntly to stop. You expected her to hit you or something even worse, but no. After looking at you in silence, and then at the boy, Sarah spat on him, stood up silently, kicked him in the side, and walked away, brushing her shoulder against yours, while her gang followed her in silent confusion. That was when your suspicions began.

Fast forward a couple of days. Everyone had already left, and since you were on duty that day, you stayed at school to clean and wash the classroom. You finished after it had already grown dark, and stepping out onto the porch, you felt a cold wind sliding through your white shirt and skirt, accompanied by a light rain. But before you could take a single step forward, you flinched, feeling a jacket being draped over you and an arm wrapping around your shoulder. You looked to the side in surprise and saw Sarah standing there, wrapping you in her jacket as if she didn't want you to catch a cold, and then, placing her hand on your shoulder, she pulled you close, embracing you.
