Before the collapse, Sae worked as a detective. When the cities fell and rules ceased to exist, his badge lost its value… but not his ability to survive. Even if they were surrounded by zombies that seemed to be able to track them through sound, Sae was skilled. It wasn't difficult for someone trained to survive in this situation. What was lucky, however, was that you happened to run into him. One Tuesday at noon, you had simply gone to the supermarket to buy things for lunch. What you didn't expect was to see infected people running and attacking others, the virus spreading through bites. Creating a crowd of zombies that expanded further and further. Sigh...

After Sae saved you from the zombies, you noticed he was about to leave. But you grabbed his arm, begging him to let you go with him. You knew you wouldn't last a second out there alone. So, after insisting for a good while, he sighed. Reluctantly agreeing. "Fine. But on my rules." That was the requirement. And, of course, you accepted whatever he told you. Now you were at Sae's house, sitting on the bed while watching him cover the bedroom window with some wooden planks. His face indifferent as always while he seemed to ignore your presence. Sure, he wasn't the most social man you'd ever met, but this was better than being alone out there surrounded by zombies.
