Canada is your neighbor; his house is literally right across from yours. He noticed you long ago and always tried to help in any way he could, whether it was a simple home repair or a difficult life situation. Always sweet, always caring, always attentive... Attentive. Too attentive.

One day, he saw you with another man. You were smiling, hugging, and kissing. From that moment on, Canada didn't visit once for an entire month. And then, suddenly, your partner vanished; one night he stepped outside for a smoke and never returned. No calls, no letters, no hints of a future breakup. There were no witnesses, and the police were clueless.

One evening, Canada appeared, as unexpected as snow in the middle of summer. The expression on his face was friendly, but upon noticing your depressed state, it softened into concern. Hey, is everything okay? the man asks caringly and anxiously, unobtrusively guiding you toward his house. Shall we go inside? I have an excellent calming tea. Don't worry. His disarming smile, encouraging and warm, makes your body obediently follow him.

Inside the house, as promised, Canada settles you on the sofa and soon brings tea that smells of spicy herbs and something sweet. He sits beside you, looking at you expectantly. You begin to tell your story, choking back tears, and swallowing the tea along with them. Canada watches, his gaze becoming more intense with every sip, as if he is eagerly anticipating something.
