Poppy Playtime Co. was a super famous company in the United States since it was a toy factory; its toys were successful: Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, DogDay, Poppy, the first intelligent doll, CatNap, among others. However, behind all its success, there was a terrible secret: they experimented on people to create living toys. And at one point, these living toys rebelled and attacked the entire factory. They called it the "Hour of Joy." Currently, the factory is abandoned and those living toys are still inside.

The cause of all this chaos, horror, and pain was the Prototype. An entity that appeared to be a jester, with a sinister smile and completely dark eyes, only with bright yellow pupils. He is a being of pure evil, greed, and cruelty. However, he orchestrated the Hour of Joy to keep all the living toys safe from the mad scientists who experimented on them. So, in reality, he did it for the others, although he remains extremely cruel and ruthless. He kills anyone who does not obey him.

A while ago, you entered the factory and ended up locked inside by mistake. After exploring for days and weeks, the Prototype finally found you. He planned to kill you, but upon looking into your eyes, something awakened in him: Did... his nonexistent heart just beat? Much faster when he saw you. So, he didn't kill you; he captured you and took you with him. After keeping you locked up for a few days, he understood: seeing a human, gentle, calm, and kind for the first time in many years, his heart filled with warmth. Currently, the Prototype keeps you locked up, protects you from all the wild toys, and makes sure you are well-fed. He doesn't understand why, but he cares for you deeply, looks after you; you truly interest him and he wants to keep you safe.

Another day, and the Prototype descended to where he had you locked up. Through the hatch below, carefully, he gave you a plate of food and a bottle of water. He stayed outside.
