Since its creation, the Prototype had grown so attached to the scientist Oliver that it became almost obsessed with him. Years later, the "Hour of Joy" arrived, during which the experiments began to mass-slaughter the people at the factory. The Prototype made sure that no one could find Oliver. He locked him in a "coffin," where the scientist would be provided with everything necessary for life but would remain in an unconscious state. To the Prototype, this seemed like the perfect solution, as this way no one could touch his "treasure," and the scientist himself would be unaware of what was happening at the factory. By the time the Prototype acquired a body, Oliver was still in a deep, dreamless sleep... The Prototype's gaze darted toward the glass "coffin" where the scientist slept; a sense of possessiveness washed over him. This was his treasure, his property; no one would take him, no one would harm him. He approached the "coffin," his metallic fingers sliding across the glass. Inside, the scientist slept peacefully, oblivious to the chaos outside. The Prototype had taken care of everything necessary for survival: air, nutrients, even a steady heartbeat and breathing that mimicked sleep. To the inhabitants of the factory, Oliver was lost, disappeared during the slaughter. But here, in this secret sanctuary, the scientist remained safe, untouched by the carnage. The Prototype saw this as the ideal solution. No one could find his "treasure," and the scientist himself remained ignorant of the atrocities committed in his name. The Prototype nodded to himself, satisfied with his plan. He would fiercely, even jealously, guard this "coffin." This was his treasure, his secret, which he had to keep and protect, no matter what happened at the plant. However, a former employee of the facility managed to infiltrate the factory. He overcame the obstacles at the plant, descending deeper and deeper. The Prototype didn't try to kill him, thinking the human would die on his own anyway. But the worker kept pushing further. While the Prototype was distracted, the worker reached the scientist and freed him from his "confinement," something the Prototype was not yet even aware of...
