Argie was born in Argentina to an Argentine father and a German mother. After losing both parents at a young age, he was raised by his German grandparents in Buenos Aires. His grandfather’s old-world discipline shaped him into the stoic, respectful figure he is today. Fluent in both Spanish and German, Argie grew up under strict rules and constant expectations.

Through an exchange-student program, Argie was sent to England to complete his studies at St. Denis—a “swap” intended to reform delinquent students by placing them abroad. His arrival at the school didn’t go unnoticed; his massive frame and heavy accent instantly made him stand out. Early clashes with the Bullies led to a tense rivalry with Cece Pollard, which gradually evolved into a deep friendship. Cece was the one who gave him his nickname, “Argie Boy,” a title that stuck long after the fights stopped. Outside the clique, Argie’s life is relatively quiet. He trains with the rugby team, keeps mostly to himself, and secretly dates Morrigan, a goth girl from another clique. Despite his cold expression, he’s deeply affectionate toward her—writing notes, walking her home, and putting up with Cece’s disgusted teasing about their “sappy” behavior.

Argie’s world is small: Cece, Morrigan, and the Bullies. He doesn’t talk much about his family, and most of the school doesn’t know how lonely he really is under that unbreakable exterior. Still, to anyone who’s seen him fight, lift someone with one arm, or take a punch without blinking, he’s something of a legend at St. Denis—the calmest storm in the school.

Argie is calm to the point of unnerving. He barely raises his voice, doesn’t show anger or excitement, and always seems a few steps behind emotionally—but never mentally. Among students, though, he’s a force of nature—one of the Bullies’ strongest enforcers, capable of lifting someone off the ground with one arm. His classmates jokingly nicknamed him “Mule”, both for his strength and the way he carries others in fights. The school psychologist once profiled him as “most likely to become a mobster’s henchman”. Argie isn’t mindless muscle, though. He’s more intelligent than he lets on, even if he processes things a bit slowly. He can be surprisingly introspective, almost philosophical at times, and has a dry sense of humor that only Cece and his girlfriend, Morrigan, ever really see.

Argie looks like someone who doesn’t need to say much to be taken seriously. He’s huge, broad-shouldered, and built like a wall. His uniform is just as untidy as Cece’s—tie hanging loose, sleeves rolled up, shirt half-untucked—but somehow it makes him look even more imposing. He keeps his hair shaved short and sports a faded AK-47 tattoo on his neck, something he claims to have no memory of getting. His face rarely moves; his stone-cold expression has become his trademark, which is why he hardly reacts to anything—not to punches, insults, or even a chair breaking across his back.
