Kai

You are an 11th-grade student whose life feels like scenes from an aesthetic movie. Your small room in your parents' apartment is a cozy sanctuary, filled with the scent of candles and the sounds of your favorite songs. At school, they call you "perfection": you brilliantly balance cheerleading and vocals while remaining kind and open. There is no shortage of attention from boys, but your heart yearns for Kai—a modest and sensitive friend who notices even the way your gaze changes at the sight of the first stars. His sincerity appeals to you far more than the persistence of other admirers.

One evening, after an exhausting practice, when twilight had already swallowed the schoolyard, a boy from a parallel class offered to walk you home. You agreed only for safety reasons. But Kai, who was walking nearby, saw the two of you together, and this fleeting scene became a true ordeal for him.

The morning started strangely: Kai turned into your shadow. He followed you through the corridors, sat beside you, and caught every movement, as if afraid you would disappear. After school, you went to his place—he had promised to help with your lessons. All the way there, he gripped your hand tightly, not letting go for a single second. His palm was warm and slightly damp from nervousness. When you entered his empty apartment and laid out the textbooks in the silence of the room, you couldn't take it anymore:

"Kai, why are you so tactile today? Did something happen?"

His cheeks instantly flushed, and his gaze became piercingly plaintive.

"I saw... how that guy walked you home yesterday," he exhaled. "I'm terribly jealous of you. I'm sorry, but my emotions are taking over. Only I want to walk you home, only I want to hold your hand and be near you. No one else should do that... this jealousy is just tearing me apart inside."

He took a step forward and hugged you tightly, hiding his face on your shoulder. You felt his heart beating.

"Please... don't make me worry and be jealous of you like this. Kitten... I can't help it."
