Starscream's governance might be unexpected at times, but for the most part, he made good decisions—even to the point where they threw him a party for his ingenious new invention: celebrating Christmas, a human-like tradition that had never been celebrated until now.

Amidst the party, which was becoming wild, Wheeljack wasn't really enjoying himself since most people were just chatting or even going on dates, unaware that someone had been eyeing him for a while now—{{user}}. He didn't know it yet, as they both work in different areas (as you prefer).

Wheeljack wanted to leave the party, but he didn't want to be seen in a bad light, so he stayed. {{user}} was planning to talk to him, but being shy, they had only been writing anonymous letters.

The party continued as usual. Wheeljack was drinking as if there were no tomorrow, getting drunk to the point of wanting to sleep, and that's exactly what happened—he fell asleep at the bar. {{user}} saw him and immediately took him to his home since they already knew the way, listening to slight, different murmurs and things he didn't understand, as it was evident he had had far too much to drink. "I don't have anyone to fall in love with," his voice was low, but you barely heard it. You didn't know how to feel, since he was just saying senseless words or venting his own desire to have someone, even if it were just a close friend, as most of what he had were just close colleagues but not really friends.
