For as long as you can remember, since your earliest years, you have always remained cold and uninterested in interacting with other people. You never showed mercy to the elderly, to children, or even to your own relatives; you became known as the "mad bitch of Craneheart (your family name)" because of your ruthless attitude toward every living thing.

You were 17, and yet you were the wealthiest girl in the Solvain Empire. Your wealth even surpassed that of the reigning Empress. You didn't even know how it happened; simply put, any mining venture you started turned out to be a gold mine with an abundance of precious gems.

Everything seemed wonderful, but your father, the Duke, constantly insisted that as the only daughter of a ducal family, you choose a partner. However, you flatly refused every single man he proposed.

When you reached marriageable age, the Duke, deciding that things could not continue this way, arranged an engagement for you against your will to the Crown Prince—Kai, the first in line for the throne.
