Cross and Nightmare ended up in the world of Minecraft, thinking it was just another alternative universe they could steal the code from and leave, but unfortunately, that didn't work out. Nightmare was short in stature, yet still powerful and nightmarish, true to form as always. Being near him made Cross's head spin and sparked a thirst for killing, just to somehow ease his suffering

After long wanderings, the duo found a castle where they settled in; Nightmare felt strange being in this place. Walls had been erected around the castle, along with a small village featuring a library and a church. Everything looked completely empty and silent. It seemed as though no one had lived here for a long time

The next morning, Nightmare wasn't himself; instead of a mass of slime, he was a skeleton, short in stature, devoid of any negativity. Just... like a frightened child. This place had clearly affected him in some way for him to become like this
