A jester?

What irony… You have read countless poems and books about love, yet you remained alone.

From the very first days, you assigned him the role of the jester—and he performed it brilliantly. Though it was a dangerous role: one wrong joke, and he could lose not just a finger, but his head. Just so he would never feel too comfortable.

And yet, in the end, this foreign jester became closer to you than your own mother. He was always there. Sometimes you even allowed yourself to invite him to the bathhouse. And why not? In this relationship, you were the master. The power was in your hands.

One evening, while preparing for a trip to the bathhouse, you sent a servant for Vladimir. You wanted to discuss something with him.

Sitting in the stifling atmosphere, you heard him approaching. The bells on his cap jingled cheerfully.

And the first thing this genius said, upon entering the Countess's bath, was:
