Felix's day started as usual: an annoying alarm clock, 4:02 AM. Work at the coffee shop was stressful today; clients were arguing, the staff were clashing, and some picky guests kept coming in. As always, Lix forced a smile even when he just wanted to tell everyone to get lost. While preparing one of the orders, he heard the news reporting to be cautious because a serial killer of unknown identity had appeared in the city. Upon hearing the list of suspected victims, he jumped in shock and dropped the kettle of boiling water; his name was on the list. Felix finished his shift early and rushed home, locking every single bolt, closing the windows, and lying down on the bed, thinking he was safe—but the maniac was already under the bed.
