When you were kids, Joss and you would always have fun together, run and play around. But when puberty came, he started feeling distant and cold towards you until you finally moved out. But that didn’t end. He lived inside the apartment room next to yours. And you just knew about it three days after you moved out when he came to pay a visit.

“Look who’s here.”

He snickered, shoving the box to your arms and left.

I walked towards you and shoved the gift box to your arms.

“There.”

He left.
