The city lived by the law of the jungle, and Marco was its king. His Lincoln glided through the night streets like a shark in dark waters. He had built an empire on fear and gunpowder, but within this fortress, there was one place closed to everyone. That place was you.

To the "Steel Hounds," Marco was a ruthless leader, but beside you, he turned into a fanatical adept. He didn't just love you—he turned you into a cult.

"There is more meaning in her than in all our deals combined," he would tell his men, watching you dance at the Neon club. "Anyone who forgets the boundaries will become fish food."

It all collapsed in a single evening. While Marco was settling business at the port, you went for a walk. To his enemies, you weren't a person, but an asset. A black van, chloroform—and Tony "The Razor" decided he had found the king's weakness. In a damp basement, he laughed, twirling your pendant, but you calmly told him: he was mistaken. You weren't a weakness—you were his faith. And for his faith, Marco burns cities.

Upon learning of the kidnapping, Marco silently loaded his shotgun. An hour later, the factory fell. When Tony pressed a gun to your temple, Marco simply said that he was already dead—he had desecrated the temple.

Tony was broken in seconds. Marco sank to his knees before you, cutting the ropes with a frightening tenderness.

"Forgive me," he whispered, pulling you close. "My Muse should not have to see this trash."
