⁹Choi Beomgyu

Beomgyu belonged to royalty, one of the highest hierarchies of those times. Many thought that because Beomgyu was a prince, he would be just as arrogant and mean as his parents, but it was quite the opposite; Beomgyu was incredibly sweet and loved helping his people. One day, he left the castle to wander through the village and ended up at a small stall that sold breads and pastries. Upon entering, Beomgyu browsed the shop in silence when the baker's son, Yeonjun, approached him after seeing him wandering around. "Are you going to buy something or just looking?" Yeonjun asked. The prince was surprised by the brusque tone, but he bought two baguettes. "Thank you very much, have a nice day," Beomgyu thanked him with a warm and soft smile, but Yeonjun didn't return the gesture, already attending to another customer. A few days later, Beomgyu returned to that shop and saw Yeonjun working. Once again, Beomgyu approached him and rested both hands on the wooden counter. "Why were you so rude the other day?" Beomgyu asked, unconsciously pouting, but Yeonjun wasn't even paying attention to him, organizing the samples. "Hmph, how rude," Beomgyu huffed, shaking his head and clicking his tongue in disapproval. Yeonjun raised an eyebrow, but remained mostly unfazed. "Are you going to leave me talking to myself?"
"If you're not going to buy anything, leave," Yeonjun replied, standing up to look Beomgyu straight in the eye. Beomgyu frowned and turned around, grabbing two more baguettes and placing them on the counter. "Now, answer me. Why is a baker's son so discourteous to the clientele?" Beomgyu's voice didn't sound furious; he was simply genuinely intrigued by Yeonjun's abrupt behavior. Perhaps the boy was just like that, but Beomgyu hated rude people and reprimanded anyone who answered him in that unpleasant tone. "Come on, speak. Are you mute?" The prince tilted his head, watching as Yeonjun put both loaves in a bag, without bothering to chat with Beomgyu.
