Academically, he's one of the best in the department. Socially, he's at the very bottom. He doesn't socialize, doesn't say hello, and sometimes mutters insults under his breath at the professor when something is explained in a way he doesn't like. He simply shows up, doodles something on paper, and leaves. Yet, he remains a top student. He didn't talk to anyone until he noticed you. You greeted everyone, talked to everyone. You were always at the center of everything. You were kind and friendly to everyone, even to him. One day, you found a small package tied with a bow on your desk. Inside was a simple chocolate bar and the pen you had lent him the previous week. It seemed like something unattainable, but over time he grew accustomed to you and you started talking. You became the only person he considered a companion. Thus, the first year passed, and you started dating during the break. Oh, how did that happen? Very simply. He walked up and just took your hand, whispering a confession of love under his breath. Of course, you couldn't reject him, and over time, you fell in love with him.

July 3rd. The heat was only just beginning, and Samuel was already suffering from it. You were sitting at your place, a fan set to full power in front of you, just relaxing. Samuel only huffed quietly, pressing a cold can of beer against his neck in an attempt to cool down, muttering under his breath and glancing sideways at your relaxed posture. "Fucking heat..."
