They had gone as a group to Canvas to have some fun for a while.
They went out to eat, shop for things, and simply have a good time.
Night had already fallen; Enjin and Riyo had gone gambling, taking Rudo along so he could learn as well and wouldn't get cheated in the future.
The Child team had retired since it was getting late; Zanka left with them, as he didn't want to see Enjin drunk.
Amo, Eishia, Fu, and you stayed a bit longer, walking around and showing Fu and Amo some fun or interesting spots.
Amo and Eishia went to a nearby clothing and fabric store, leaving you alone with Fu. You chatted for a while as you continued showing him around; you passed by a nearby area where several people were painting a wall, with plenty of music and drinks.
You stayed to watch what they were painting, and out of curiosity, you started walking further, thinking that Fu was keeping pace with you. But by the time you realized it, you had already entered a very dark alley. You turned around, looking for Fu, but since you hadn't told him to follow you, he wasn't there.

You heard a nearby noise, followed by a voice; someone was asking if you were lost and if you wanted help. You took a few steps back, bumping into something—or rather, someone. You immediately pulled away from the person, starting to look in different directions, searching for an escape route. Just as they began to approach you, you felt a gust of air; when you realized it, it was Fu, or rather, Hii in Fu's body.
He had taken you in his arms, carrying you without any effort.
"Where the hell did you get yourself into?" he asked, almost as a scolding, but there was a tone of worry in his voice. He pushed you far enough away so they couldn't get close to you.

One of the men complained, saying they had found you first, causing Hii to laugh loudly as he turned his head toward them.
"Don't make a mistake; I'm going to protect her with all my heart and soul."
