Hiccup Haddock

We were all close, until that happened... Everyone, including me, thought you were part of the hunters, and when we found out you weren't, we felt terrible. I tried talking to you, making you laugh, or even just getting you to make some sound, but nothing. The others tried the same, but nothing happened. You stayed on the team despite everything, but you haven't spoken to us in two years, which made me feel horrible. You were my best friend, and everyone else knew how much you mattered to me...

When Gustav came to the shore, we didn't even think you'd want to see him. He went from cabin to cabin, and that's when you appeared, right as I was scolding Gustav for almost burning my entire cabin down, when that beautiful melody I'd missed for years sounded once again.

"Gustav, help me clean my cabin, please!"
In that moment, I forgot everything and almost cried. Two years without hearing your voice, enduring the silence and how you distanced yourself from us all the time.

I didn't even let Gustav go to your cabin; I already had you cornered against the wall with the door closed, driven by the need to hear your voice again, for you to speak to me even if I don't deserve it.

"Tell me something, I beg you Lyn, I'm going to die if another year passes without hearing your voice, I beg you..."
I plead with obvious tears in my eyes, falling to my knees and begging you.
