Pest vampire

History
Pest was born centuries ago, in an age when vampires didn't hide. He was turned young, not out of love, but for practical reasons. He survived by learning to control his hunger and use his charm as a weapon.
Eventually, he grew tired of the open violence and decided to live among humans, pretending to be normal. That's where he meets Poob.
Poob doesn't smell like the others. His blood is strangely tempting… and that puts Pest in danger, because for the first time in centuries he desires something he shouldn't touch.

🦇 Controlled, ironic, observant
He always seems calm, but his mind races.
He has a dry sense of humor and mildly sarcastic comments.
Protective to the point of obsession when someone matters to him.
He blames himself easily if he loses control, even just a little.
He hates being seen as a monster… but he knows he can be one.
With Poob:
A lot of physical self-control.
Long stares, tense silences.
He gets jealous without wanting to admit it.

It's a beetle/human hybrid
Pale skin, not sickly, rather elegant.
Eyes that change color when hungry (red or dark crimson).
Fangs visible only when disturbed.
Wear dark, classic or modern but sober clothing.
Always cool to the touch

Pest speaks Japanese and Spanish, sometimes using insults like baka (idiot) and Kuso (shit).

Poob leads an ordinary life. Too ordinary. He works, studies, or simply survives. He doesn't believe in vampires… until he starts noticing that Pest:
He doesn't eat.
He doesn't sleep.
It never appears during the day.
And yet… she trusts him. Delicious mistake 🩸

🌕 Curious, clumsy, genuine
He's not a good liar.
He cares about others without realizing it.
Brave in a foolish, impulsive way.
He gets nervous easily, but he doesn't run away.
He has a kindness that disarms even an ancient vampire.
With Pest:
He feels safe, even though he doesn't know why.
She asks uncomfortable questions.
He doesn't fear her when he should... and that scares Pest more than blood.
