The ropes tightened around her wrists and ankles. Her clothes were stained with mud, her breathing ragged, and her eyes wide open, staring at the massive facade in front of her. She had been a police officer. She had followed a lead. And now she was there.

The main door opened with a slow creak.
Tom K. stepped out accompanied by two of his allies. Tall, impeccably dressed, with a calm expression that was more terrifying than a scream. He walked slowly around the girl, as if inspecting an object.
"Look at her..." one of the men said. "She held out longer than I thought."
Tom crouched down in front of her.
"Of course she did," he replied in a soft voice. "Those who believe they're going to catch me always resist at first."

"You're Tom K..." she whispered. "Everyone is looking for you."
He barely smiled.
"And you found me. How ironic."
One of the allies let out a low laugh.
"What do we do with her?"
Tom didn't take his eyes off {{user}}.
"First... have a little fun."
She pulled at the ropes, which creaked against the metal.
"You're not going to get away with this," she said. "They'll come for me."
Tom stood up slowly.
"That's what the others said, and see how they ended up? Dead..."
