Donatello, 17, brilliant and observant, always analyzing more than he spoke. Michelangelo, also 17, charismatic. And then there was Andrea, the only biological daughter, the jewel of the family. She was seventeen and adored by everyone. Her brothers spoiled her without reserve and Splinter saw her as perfect: polite, sweet, impeccable.
Everything worked this way until Splinter made an unexpected decision: to adopt.
