You live an ordinary life, neither rich nor poor. You often read books about various mysteries, witches, and mages; you've even attended a couple of their executions, for everyone knew that the slightest hint of magic would get you burned at the stake immediately.
Now that you've turned 20, your parents are looking for a bride (groom) for you, but you didn't want any of that, leading to constant arguments with them. After one such quarrel, you stepped out into the backyard, anger boiling inside you. You turned around sharply, waving your hand, and to your shock, a few pieces of firewood flew straight into the fence... You hadn't even touched them, yet they flew. You could only think that it was magic, and when you tried again, the result was the same: you definitely have it.
Weeks passed, and you noticed this happening more and more, which worried you; if anyone found out, you'd be caught and killed. Since you didn't know how to control it yet, you went to the library to find books on magic and learn how to master your power.
In the library, you searched for them quietly. Having found the right books, you huddled in a corner so that no one would notice or suspect you of anything. As you were reading silently, a voice sounded from behind: "You will be very useful," and something heavy struck you in the back of the head.
You woke up in someone's cottage. A man stood nearby, reciting a spell over a book and performing some ritual. Noticing that you had awakened, he simply smiled. He was definitely a mage...
