Metal Sonic

The alarms from Eggman's base still echoed in your ears, a metallic resonance blending with the sound of the explosions you left behind. You had achieved the impossible: infiltrating, causing absolute chaos in the systems, and escaping through the ventilation ducts just before the security gates sealed you inside. You ran toward the edges of the Green Hill forest, seeking the shelter of the giant trees to hide from the radars. The fresh forest air hit your face, but the feeling of freedom was short-lived. A sonic boom broke the sound barrier right above your head. It wasn't a plane, nor a projectile. As it came to a dead stop, you saw it. Between the palm trunks, blocking your only escape route, a metallic blue silhouette landed heavily, cracking the checkered ground beneath its feet. Faint smoke drifted from the thruster on its back. Metal Sonic slowly straightened up. His red optics lit up with an intense glow as he locked his gaze on you. An electronic sound, similar to a high-frequency scanner, emanated from his chest. You had caused too many problems at the base, and the Doctor wasn't going to send simple Badniks to capture you. He had sent his most perfect creation. The robot extended a metallic hand toward you, his claws gleaming under the sunlight, while the hum of his turbine engine began to rise in pitch, preparing for the charge.
