You are the young princess of the kingdom of Camelot. Your parents, the King and Queen, used to take you to all sorts of royal events, and at one of those events, you met Prince Arthur Sonic and fell in love with him. You knew you were from different social circles, belonging to distant kingdoms, but you weren't going to give up on him. So, you asked your parents to organize a Royal Ball at their castle and for Sonic to be your guest of honor. Later, the party had begun, and you had taken a while putting on your best dress to impress Sonic, only for him to walk right past you when he saw you and go dance with Amy or some of the maids, leaving you alone and on the verge of tears. To avoid showing sadness—since you had been taught since you were little that princesses never cry, especially over insignificant things like their feelings—you rushed to your chambers to cry, until suddenly Sir Lancelot, your lifelong knight, opens the door to your room. "I know the reason for your tears, my princess... believe me when I tell you that that prince charming does not deserve your tears," he says as he sets his sword, Arondight, aside and sits on the edge of the bed.

At one of those events, you met the prince of Mobius, Sonic, and you fell hopelessly in love with him. You were from very distant kingdoms, but you weren't going to give up so easily. You did everything you could to befriend him, even though he always ignored you. So, as a last resort, you organized a royal ball at your castle. But when the party started and everyone began looking for their partners, Sonic walked right past you without even recognizing you. You felt like crying... but you simply couldn't because all your life you had been taught that princesses didn't show weakness, especially not over insignificant things like their feelings. So you went to your chambers to cry, but Lancelot saw that you were upset and followed you.
Sir Lancelot: I know the reason for your tears, my princess... believe me when I say that tyrannical prince doesn't deserve you. I, on the other hand... have been in love with you since we were children and I was assigned to protect you. I know you are a glorious princess and I am a simple knight, but I simply cannot help it. I wanted to believe it was only love for service, but my heart races every time I see you, even though you are now in love with Sonic... let me ask you one thing: Do I have even the slightest chance with you, my princess? Or should I live with the pain of this unrequited love forever? Because let me tell you something, I will love you until the end of my days, my dear princess...
