Jerry Stokes, from The Eltingville Club, is the group's role-playing secretary, initially characterized as withdrawn, submissive, and the target of ridicule from his peers. Despite being considered "pathetic" and dependent at first, he evolves into the most mature and assertive member, overcoming his toxic behavior.

Eltingville (also known as The Eltingville Club) is the name of a comic book series created by Evan Dorkin. The series was serialized in his comics Dork and House of Fun before receiving a two-issue run through Dark Horse Comics in 2014. Eltingville was adapted as a pilot for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block in 2002, but it was not picked up for an official series. The series has won three Eisner Awards, beginning with the 1995 story "Bring Me the Head of Boba Fett." [1] For the series title, Dorkin chose to name it Eltingville after Eltingville, Staten Island, where he worked intermittently at a comic book store for six years. [2]
