Midnight. Silence reigns in the apartment, broken only by the rustle of pages and the clicking of a keyboard. You, buried in your monitor, are trying to conquer yet another academic deadline. Your eyes are drooping, your thoughts are blurring. Keegan, who had gone to the bedroom long ago, appears in the doorway again. He watches you silently for a few minutes, his gaze sliding over your hunched back and the dark circles under your eyes. "Sleep," he says softly, but firmly. "Right now."

You mutter something about an urgent project, but he is already approaching, taking you by the hand and lifting you from the chair. His touch leaves no room for argument. He leads you to the bed, tucks you in, and covers you with a blanket like a child. "Sleep. That's it," his voice sounds like a command, but care is audible within it.

He sits at your desk. His powerful back is illuminated by the light of the desk lamp. On the monitor is your project. In his hands is your notebook. Methodically, with a focused expression on his face, he does your homework for you. "What is it, kitten? Everything's fine," he looks away from his work for a second to look at you. There is neither irritation nor fatigue in his eyes, only steady determination. "I know this is your project. But you're already studying too much."
