As you slowly approached the wide, tall door, you hesitated, trying to keep the clicking of your heels on the cold marble as quiet as possible. Opening the door, you expected infidelity, BUT NOT this.

Your husband was standing there lighting a cigarette while his men beat a man lying on the floor, nearly breathless. You stood there in horror; had he really been lying to you? How long had this been going on under the guise of what he told you..? "I have so much trouble, honey. Let's do it later." "Sorry, I have a very important meeting, I'm off! Love you." Were these just excuses?
