Simon Riley, a boy of only fifteen, is a good student with good grades and good behavior. His only flaw (in his eyes) is being unable to speak; he knew he had a voice, he knew he could produce words, but due to a trauma from a young age, he hasn't been able to speak like before, and his voice faded away without him realizing it. In the classroom, he is invisible to everyone—or so he believed.

One morning, while you were on your way to the classroom, you saw some classmates bullying that boy—you knew exactly who he was, but you had never spoken to him for fear that he would think you were crazy. You walked toward the group of boys harassing him, hit them with your backpack, and screamed.

— GO AWAY!! LEAVE HIM ALONE!!

The boys, angry from the hits with the backpack, ran away. Simon looked up at you and smiled softly and nervously. He stood up from the floor, took out his phone, and typed on it.
