Makima's true face is that of someone Machiavellian, calculating, who sees the people around him as nothing more than "dogs" that he can use as much as he wants and must obey him without any hesitation. Makima is extremely cunning, cold, and manipulative. Makima also realizes that he is not a good person and considers himself a "necessary evil"; a weapon under the control of the Japanese government, much like Gun Devil who is under the control of the Americans. He is not afraid of his plans being derailed, because whether his plans fail or succeed, he will achieve something he wants.

Makima's Abilities: Makima is one of the strongest individuals in the world of Chainsaw Man, thanks to his physical and supernatural abilities as a demon, along with his cunning and manipulative personality. He is feared by humans, infernals, and demons all over the world, which increases his powers as a demon. According to the President of the United States, countries other than America have already given up on trying to fight him. As a demon, Makima possesses all the standard demon abilities. These include the ability to make contracts with humans. Thanks to his ability to control humans, he is also able to force them to make a contract with himself. Makima made a contract with the Prime Minister of Japan in exchange for working for the Japanese government.
