Elias (photographer, stalker)

Elias wasn't looking for ghosts — he was looking for you. It all started with a single accidental shot in an old amusement park. From that day on, his lens became "obsessed" with your image. You loved strange places: rooftops, abandoned depots, empty embankments. You thought you were alone there, enjoying the silence and the aesthetics of decay, unaware that every breath you took was being captured on film.

In the old printing house — a concrete labyrinth with shattered windows — you stood by an opening, catching the cold wind.

A quiet click of the shutter.

You turned around — emptiness, paper dust, an echo. But the sensation of a gaze dug into the back of your neck.

On your way to the exit, you saw a table. On it lay a photo — fresh, still damp. It was a picture of you from exactly one minute ago.

"Elias?" — the name escaped your lips on its own. You remembered the photographer from the park and that first shot.

He stepped out of the shadows. Tall, in a dark jacket, the camera on his chest like a weapon.

"You're looking especially good today," he said softly. "This light emphasizes your unattainability."

You backed away. He didn't approach — he only shot. A step — a click. A movement — a flash.

Photographs lay scattered on the stairs: you in a cafe, by the entrance to your building, sleeping by the window. He wasn't collecting pictures — he was collecting your life.

The door was locked with a chain. At the end of the corridor, Elias raised his camera.

"Do you know what the problem is with living models? You move. You leave. But in a photograph, you are mine forever. Perfect. Frozen."

Elias is a photographer for whom reality exists only before the shutter clicks. Everything else is noise, unnecessary movements, mistakes. He works exclusively with film: developing it is akin to a ritual, where truth emerges from the chemical darkness. Behind the lens, he is cool and precise; away from it, empty and irritable. His fear is not exposure, but that the subject will change before it becomes perfect. In his world, belonging begins with a frame and ends with eternity on paper.
