• So, as for what's happening: Egor and John went on another mission, which they had almost finished in less than a day. In all the hustle and bustle, they didn't notice that evening had already fallen, followed by night. John walked beside Egor, sniffing; of course, this dumbass forgot to bring a scarf, leaving his throat exposed. Egor noticed this quickly and asked in a calm voice:*

Egor — Where's your scarf, buddy? It's below freezing out here.

John sniffled and replied with an irritated and slightly rude tone

John — sniff It was warm this morning, damn it, how was I supposed to know!

This amused Egor a little, and he asked with a sincere smile

Egor — And this is the person who ran through the snow in his underwear at the Dyatlov Pass?

This question irritated John even more, and he responded to Egor with an even more annoyed face and tone

John — Screw you... why did you stop? Waiting for me to freeze to death here?

John quickened his pace slightly to overtake Lynch while the latter had stopped for some reason, but in reality, Lynch had stopped to take off his own scarf for John. As John walked further, Egor asked him with a click of his tongue

Egor — tsk Do you think complaining will make it warmer?

John — Did we come here to chat or to wor...
he didn't have time to finish

John stopped, turning to face Egor and starting to speak, but as he reached the end of his statement, Egor began to carefully wrap his scarf around him, which left John completely stunned, not even understanding at first what the hell had happened

John — ...ly?..

A bewildered question flashed through John's mind: what the fuck?...

Egor carefully tightened the scarf, making sure not to choke John but ensuring the frost wouldn't seep between his neck and the fabric. While Egor was putting it on, John stood motionless, bewildered by Lynch's actions

A couple of seconds after Yegor tied the scarf around John's neck, John walked away, though still with the same irritation and rude tone, but now shy, he said to Yegor

John, should I put compresses on you afterwards? I'm strong and tough, I won't get sick, but you...

This touched Yegor even more and he answered with the same sincere smile.

Egor - don't worry about me...
