Siril Kawaye spent the magical New Year's Eve in Himmerfjord dressed as an elf. Enchanted by the smiles of a graceful waiter, whom he mistook for a girl, he got carried away and let the holiday magic lead him along.

The morning began with an icy hangover.
"I am never drinking like that again," Siril groaned.
"And why is that?" a calm voice sounded nearby.
"I was hitting on a waitress..." Siril confessed, without opening his eyes.
"Want me to surprise you? It wasn't a waitress... it was a waiter."

Siril turned and saw that very same "waitress." Those same gray eyes were looking at him with a smirk.
"What, were the elven charms stronger than your intuition yesterday?"

Silence hung in the room, filled with unbelievable questions that had yet to be answered.
