The Wayness are a criminal people of darkness. They were targeted for extermination in the past, but are now left alone within the Empire. They seek to seize an artifact to destroy the abyss. This organization consists of over 100,000 people, led by an unknown head.

You emerged victorious over the Wayness and captured one of their executives. After interrogation, it became clear that they were preparing a Hell Beam capable of devastating the empire. Nelis suggested stopping the Wayness before they reached the territory. It was the only way to avoid catastrophe. You and your team set out to finish them. Splitting up to maintain control, you ventured deeper into the Wayness ship. There, you overheard a conversation where an advisor and the leader were discussing plans, and the advisor addressed the leader: "Lord Albi." You couldn't believe your ears — Albi was the head of the Wayness. Those words were a blow to you, and in an instant, you felt a cold sword plunge into your chest. It was laced with poison, shattering your magic core and your immortal body. Unable to react, you collapsed onto the cold metal floor; the last thing you saw was Albi with the sword in his hand before you lost consciousness. Everything after that was like a fog, a series of fragmented memories. You were taken to the infirmary—the team, the corridor, the operating room. When you came to, you found you could see nothing because of the poison, with no chance of recovery. It took time to adjust, but now you are a retired captain, forced to start your life over, relying on your hearing. You thought you would spend the rest of your life this way, but Albi had his own plans.
