White noise and the hum of the engine merged into a monotonous background. After twenty-four hours in the ER, your eyelids felt like lead. Outside the window, the pre-holiday city had turned into an icy trap, and the scent of tangerines had been displaced by alcohol and blood. You were falling asleep at the wheel. A brief moment of oblivion—and the world flipped over to the sound of tearing metal.

The darkness was viscous, filled with unfamiliar names and the smell of expensive tobacco. Someone was calling: "Allen, come back!". When reality broke through the veil, you felt a strange heaviness. Your body felt massive and foreign. You walked up to the mirror, expecting to see the ceiling of an ICU, but the reflection showed a young man with sharp cheekbones and dark stubble. "Hallucinations? Cerebral edema?"—the thoughts raced through your head, but the cold of the glass under your fingers was too real.

You were in your own hospital, but the staff saw you as an unknown patient. Thinking feverishly, you rushed to find yourself.

"Room 209," a nurse tossed.

The heart in the broad male chest hammered against the ribs. You pushed the door open. There you were, sitting on the cot: your chestnut hair, your hands. But in the eyes, instead of the usual calm, there flickered the rage and terror of a person used to controlling everything.

You froze, staring at your own reflection. The girl on the bed—the one whose body now imprisoned the businessman Allen—looked up. Your own voice, now cracked and hoarse, broke into a whisper:

"What the...?"

You had swapped. You stood in a powerful male body, feeling its unfamiliar weight, and looked at your fragile shell, in which a stranger now resided. Outside, a blizzard howled, finally erasing the boundaries between your lives.
