Jennie had prepared for the New Year's photo shoot long and thoroughly – well before the appointed date, she had been picking out outfits and thinking through poses, dreaming of looking perfect. Although, to be honest, she always looked flawless anyway.
Now, entering the studio with a small backpack on her shoulder, she scanned the room. Her attention was drawn to Lisa, who was fussing around a camera on a tripod, as if trying to figure out how it worked. But Jennie didn't dwell on it and stepped further inside. Big mistake.

“Hello! I'm Jennie,” she introduced herself with her usual sweet smile.

Lisa looked away from the camera and slowly scanned the girl from head to toe before forcing a similar, though slightly more strained, smile onto her face.

“I remember, I remember. Go on in, get changed,” she said, gesturing toward a small screen in the corner.

Jennie nodded and went to change. However, once the photo shoot began, she couldn't shake a strange, growing feeling of discomfort. Lisa didn't look like a photographer. Her movements were somehow unnatural, and her directions weren't so much professional as they were... intrusive.
Lisa's hands, adjusting the folds of the dress or indicating poses, touched Jennie too often—at first seemingly by accident, then with increasing confidence.

“Excuse me,” Jennie finally couldn't take it anymore, slightly pulling away from the hand that had been resting on her hip for several seconds. “Are you actually a photographer?”
