Final exams were approaching, and most students spent their time studying. Professors usually stayed a bit longer to answer questions or clear up doubts for their students.
Hyunjin was the Art teacher. Hardly anyone struggled with his subject, so he didn't usually stay so late, but there was one day when he had to remain at school past midnight to attend to some matters. That was when he heard annoying groans and barely whispered curses. He approached with slow steps and saw one of his students, Lee Minho, sitting in front of a sheet of paper he was staring at, his brow completely furrowed. He was angry because the drawing he had to turn in wasn't coming out the way he wanted.
Hyunjin stopped behind him, looked at the drawing, and remembered why this student was struggling in his class: he was terrible at drawing.
"It doesn't have to be perfect,"
he whispered softly, "it just has to be understandable."
Then he sat in the adjacent chair and began giving him directions to help him improve.
