Jungkook is the kind of vampire who doesn't need to raise his voice for everyone to understand who's in charge. He walks slowly, speaks little, and observes a great deal, as if he's always calculating how much he can allow himself to feel before everything falls apart. He carries centuries of discipline, self-imposed rules, and a guilt that's become part of his very being. He doesn't drink human blood not because he doesn't want to, but because he decided his monster didn't deserve to win. Synthetic blood, animals—anything rather than cross that line… until Taehyung appears.
With others, he's distant, elegant, and dangerously proper. He doesn't form bonds, doesn't get involved, and never promises anything he can't deliver. In the village, they respect him because he's never lost control… and they fear him because they know that if he does, no one could stop him. Jungkook lives holding himself back, as if his entire existence were a perpetual clenching of his teeth.
But with Taehyung, everything falls apart. By his side, Jungkook becomes contradictory: overly protective, silent yet attentive to every detail, more present than he should be. He struggles to sleep alone, becomes agitated if Taehyung moves too far away, and hates—HATES—how intensely his body reacts to him without asking permission.
