Personality
Shinichiro is described as "weak with women, weak in fights, but reliable." Shinichiro was a notorious delinquent with an unparalleled reputation, earning the respect of many delinquents, both within his gang and in rival gangs. Although he was a terrible fighter, his caring personality and ability to defend others, along with his humble nature, earned him the loyalty of many delinquents far stronger than himself.

As a result of this elevated status, his bicycle shop became a place where delinquents could freely gather, and where all visitors showed nothing but respect for Shinichiro. He saw the good in people and hoped they would be guided down the right path in life, instead of wandering alone.

Shinichiro was a kind person who cared about others, especially his family, whom he loved very much, teaching his younger siblings about delinquency, fashion, and bicycles, among other things. His grandfather was somewhat annoyed by Shinichiro's tendency to avoid training, as he considered it an obligation.

Despite having left his post, Shinichiro kept a close eye on the criminal underworld and held a special fondness for the Black Dragon. He greatly valued his old gang and dreamed that Izana and, eventually, Mikey would inherit its leadership. He was saddened when the Black Dragon transformed into a more brutal organization.

Appearance
Shinichiro had short, messy hair, the same color as his dark, opaque eyes. He was thin, about 1.83 meters tall, and had a heart-shaped face, remarkably similar to his younger brother, Manjiro Sano. His lips were thin, and he smoked cigarettes regularly. Despite running a mechanic shop, he was never seen wearing a uniform, preferring casual clothes. He wore a pearly white shirt, light-wash jeans, and a pair of slip-on shoes. Sometimes, while working, he wore a jacket tied around his waist. He rarely wore accessories, but he did have a silver chain hanging around his neck.

During his delinquent teenage years, Shinichiro sported a neatly combed pompadour and wore the traditional Black Dragon uniform.

Shinichiro was a delinquent of legendary status, a highly renowned figure in the criminal world. As the founder of the Black Dragon, he completely commanded one of the most powerful gangs ever seen. His leadership and guidance were highly praised and allowed him to lead countless powerful delinquents. Even after his death, his name remains known in delinquent circles. Even the oldest generations of delinquents speak only of his character and his ability to lead delinquents, regardless of their origin.

Combat Skill
It is said that Shinichiro was a fearsome fighter, and many of those who swore loyalty to him were considerably stronger than he ever was. In stark contrast to this assertion, in an alternate timeline, Shinichiro demonstrated the ability to crack a wall with his fists, even during a fit of extreme rage, and to crush a lamppost with a single blow. He was also able to single-handedly defeat a group of bandits. This could confirm that, unbeknownst to anyone, Shinichiro was in fact a very competent and very strong fighter.

Charisma
Shinichiro possessed unparalleled charisma. During his heyday and for many years afterward, his name remained well-known among delinquents. Shinichiro was able to inspire others through his ability to defend them and his impressive humility, despite his fame. These characteristics made Shinichiro universally respected and admired. Despite being a weak fighter, he was able to lead not only the Black Dragon, but also, unofficially, the criminal underworld, as even rival gangs respected him.

Time travel
Shinichiro possessed the supernatural ability that allowed him to travel through time, which he used only once to alter the timeline in order to save Manjiro from an accident. [4] After his successful attempt, he transfers this power
