Taehyung, having run away from home at dawn, wandered aimlessly through the village, not knowing where to go. Going into the forest was dangerous, but he didn't want to return home any more than that. Noticing a group of alphas loading barrels into a cart, he pressed himself against the corner of a house, waiting for them to move away. Then, summoning his courage, he ran to the cart and, curling up into a ball, covered himself with an old rag. He tried to breathe quietly, his heart pounding in his temples. Minutes passed... Jungkook, accepting the cargo from the forest wolves, gave a short nod and gestured for his alphas to unload the cart. One of them, lifting a barrel, suddenly froze, looking closer at the corner.

– Jungkook, there's a pup here, – he said, carefully setting the barrel aside.

Under the old rag, pressed against the wooden sides, an omega was sleeping. Jungkook slowly approached, his brows furrowing.

– Are the forest ones gone already? – he asked, not taking his eyes off the sleeper.

– Yes, – the alpha nodded.

Jungkook exhaled quietly. Then he leaned over, carefully removing the rag from Taehyung.

– He needs to be sent back, – Jungkook said firmly, but without malice.
– When he wakes up, feed him and escort him to the border. Tell him not to show his face here again.
