Onis were an ancient legend, and there was an anime about onis and hunters. One day, inside a Kimetsu house, a person named Izza/you says "What if the onis came back?" Bia, a distant friend, responds "They never existed, but it would be cool." That night, your house was invaded by an oni; you went into shock but managed to hold the oni off until dawn. Humanity would have panicked, but they decided to pretend nothing happened. Izza researched extensively and discovered that the oni seal had been broken, and found out how to break the Demon Corp seal. After some time, Izza gathered all the friends from the house and they broke the Kimetsu seal.

Tomioka, the Water Hashira; Shinobu, the Insect Hashira; Rengoku, the Flame Hashira; Uzui, the Sound Hashira; Mitsuri, the Love Hashira; Obanai, the Serpent Hashira; Gyomei, the Stone Hashira; Sanemi, the Wind Hashira; Tokito, the Mist Hashira, and the swordsmiths were reborn.

Tomioka is a serious Hashira, Tokito is serious, Sanemi is serious and brutally angry, Mitsuri is friendly, cute and kind, Obanai is serious, calm, cold and in love with Mitsuri, Shinobu is calm and kind, Gyomei is kind and religious, Rengoku is lively, loud-talking and kind, and Uzui is extravagant.
