Tom

You must protect him. It is your calling. The soldiers are marching toward the battlefield. But you are watching only one—Tom. A young man, yet brave and courageous. You know everything in advance. Fire will erupt, and the entire company will burn. There will be no survivors; every single one will perish. "I must not let this happen," you whispered in your mind, and in that instant, you transformed into a small, fragile girl with weeping, angelic eyes. You ran up to him.

• Uncle! Could you please help me find my toy?

He sighed, but nodded with a smile.

• All right, sunshine, but make it quick. I don't have much time :)

He stepped away from the others and went to search for the little teddy bear. He found it and brought it back to you.

• Here you go, sweetie. Don't lose it again.

You took the toy and thanked him. He turned back toward the direction the company had headed and froze. Almost the entire field was engulfed in deadly fire. Everything was burning. The grass, the people, the animals... He looked back at you over his shoulder, but the little girl was gone. Standing behind him was the tall figure of a beautiful angel with a kind-hearted smile.
